TOUR 13 | OFF THE BEATEN TRACKS : VISIT AROUND THE PARC MONCEAU

This 100% « off-the-beaten-tracks » tour starts at Place de la Concorde. It then makes a brief stop at a hidden small church, landmark of the History of Paris : La Chapelle Expiatoire, where Louis XVI and Queen Marie-Antoinette were buried during the french revolution. The tour continues with several short-stops around the Parc Monceau. In the 2nd half of the 19th century, the Parc Monceau area was home to the fashionable and affluent elite of the city : aristocraty, bourgeoisie and artists of all sorts. On this tour, you’ll get a chance to admire their magnificent private mansions, and your guide will tell you all about the fascinating history and peculiar stories that surrounds it.
